I'm looking for new ideas on how to boost my business. I'm starting my own business and have a Facebook page. Is there anything I can do to grab attention and awareness?? Thanks!

Try to think of what draws you to particular brands/businesses/people of interest.  For me, I love to see real behind-the-scenes photos on facebook and instagram, photos of what's going on in your studio, posts about your favorite product line or specific product...Basically anything that gives the impression that you're passionate about what you're doing, and having fun with it.  I do not suggest posting many pre-made images or memes.  Post consistently but no more than once per day.

I post before and after photos of brows I've done, and before and after photos of clients' skin if I'm particularly successful at getting drastic results.

Give clients incentive to follow you on FB, and share your page.  I've done gift card contests where everyone who shared a particular post or my page got entered into a raffle.  It's simple enough that most people will participate, and it's free advertising.

Keep in mind that facebooks rules regarding business pages have changed drastically in the recent months and years.  They've made it much harder for businesses to reach their audience without paying for advertising space.  So don't get too discouraged if you put a lot of work in and don't see much activity.  Interaction is key.

Great ideas!  How do you get clients to agree to photo their brows?  I'll be honest I am in my 50's and so are many of my clients.  This generation doesn't do selfies. Ha!  Are those who allow you to photo their brows younger?  If so, I need to recruit a younger clientele and that's a whole other plan of action.  Again, thanks for sharing your ideas! :)

Do you have a website?

What type of business and where are you? Facebook will probably not bring you much business nowadays but important to have. What makes you different in your field? What do your reviews say about you? And what specifically do you want when you say boost?

A website is essential. I use BBEX Marketing

They're professionals and did many website for skin care businesses. Mention my recommendation to Nate. He is excellent on knowing how to boost your business.
