I combine peels and dermaplaning.  Here are the salient points:

-Don't do this on a first-time client (make sure the client has had good outcomes with each modality on separate occasions before combining)

-Perform chemical before manual exfoliation to control the depth of exfoliation with the acid (acids applied to manually exfoliated skin can penetrate out of control and you can easily wind up with hot spots or deeper peeling than desired).

In most climates, the best peels to begin with when learning to combine dermaplaning with peels are Lactic Acid.  You should be familiar and comfortable combining dermaplaning with any exfoliating masks you use regularly.  When you step into using a lactic acid peel with dermaplaning, be sure you're neutralizing completely and allowing the skin to dry again before moving on to dermaplane.  Somewhat easier is using a self-neutralizing peel like Salicylic Acid or a blend, but make sure you're really comfortable with that peel before you proceed, and know that it is going to be a much deeper exfoliation.

Perfect ... Thankyou just what I was looking for :)
