Hey ladies and gents. I have an upcoming hands on job interview and I have a question. I feel so stupid asking my potential employer because I don't want to look dumb. They said they will have me perform a bikini wax as part of it. I know that you obviously wax the sides, but do we normally take off from the top also? I am so nervous and have a billion questions (I'm pretty new to to the field). I mean, does the client wear their own panties or the disposable ones and how much are you supposed to take off? How far do I go in etc???

Don't feel weird Jennifer your concerns are right on. If it were me I would offer disposable undergarments and wipes to freshen up before leaving her alone to change. Really she only needs to disrobe from the waist down. Provide a modesty cover,(Doesn't mean she will choose to use it though.) If she keeps on her own panties you can fold a paper towel into a thin rectangle slide it through the leg holes and tie it in the middle. That will give you enough space to work around the sides without getting wax on her. You can also fold paper towels into triangles and use that to keep her underpants wax free. While you are working and once she is comfortable I would ask if she would like the top done. She won't count it against you I am sure. Checking with your client is never a bad thing. Don't go in too far. Note the shape of the undies she is wearing and copy that. It also appropriate to ask how far she wants you to go in. Biggest thing have extra gloves handy and hand sanitizer. It will unstick your gloves if you get messy. Check the wax temperature before applying it to her skin. Lay your wax thin, hold taught and pull parallel. You'll do just fine. Everybody had a first audition they don't expect perfection.

Thank you so much. I haven't done a bikini wax for a while so I was a little unsure. Thank you so much.
