Does anyone currently use oxygen therapy as part of a facial? How much does it cost roughly and where do I get one?

Check out Shelley Hancock's Rejuvenair - the pricing is pretty good.

I had gotten a smaill unit from Skin for Life before I saw the one that she carries...I probably would have gotten that one if I saw it first. If you contact her she can go over the protocol that she does.

With the SFL unit their system uses specialty serums that you oxygenate by misting with a special solution.

I end the treatment with an oxygen mist using Shelley's Oxypro serum. I have it on the menu as a stand alone Oxygen Facial but I also incorporate it into my most expensive facial(just did one today!) and I have the oxy mist as an add-on to any facial.

Thanks! I saw the rejuvenator o 2 for 1795 w the wand.

Just wondering how you like your SFL  oxygen machine?

Angela - I like it very much! It's fairly compact and is easy to fit on my equipment cart. And I like their oxygenating products.

However - I have had a problem with the air line staying IN the nebulizer/mister hand unit.

It's been a real pain - I don't know if it's me or the unit - and I have asked the trainer about this and still can't seem to get it. The PSI (or pressure) isn't real strong...not that you need it. They also dont tell you what's in the cleaning solution so I can only order that from them. I am trying to make that last as long as I can!

I think overall that the large units - like that rejuvenair -  LOOK more professional. But I have no plans to change up in the near future. Although I might consider it in a year or so.

Thanks Cindy!! I really appreciate you chatting about me.

I love the oxygen treatment and so do clients. I found a company to work with that sells a machine for a reasonabe price so we can all afford to offer this treatment. It's a wonderful add on to microdermabrasion and/or the Radiancy FSD treatment. I like to do a bit of microcurrent after the oygen infusion.

So do you ever run out of o2 and have to replace? There's not too much info on how this works.

No - only the places that use an oxygen tank have to get them refilled.

These units are "oxygen concentraters".

Hi Shelly,

ASCP just did a webinar on topical oxygen therapy. It should be in our archives by now. Email me if you have any further questions.

Thanks

Susanne

Hi Shelly, I jus got one oxygen machine and I'd love to watch this webinar too.

Thanks Suzanne - I missed that live webinar and had not seen it yet.

Whew! What a lot of information!

It definitely helps me feel better about what I AM doing - and gives me a lot of help in varying the treatment protocol to best deal with different skin conditions.

what is the average charge for this service? I am definately interested

Angela - I think that it depends on your area and your skills at marketing.

See if anyone in your area is offering this service and if you can go get one of the facials yourself.

The place I used to work at did oxygen facials using an oxygen tank (which in Suzanne's webinar is a dangerous no-no!)

So pricing -

My Oxygen Facial is $110, my oxy mist add-on to any facial is $20, and I do an oxy mist in my $120 facial and a full oxy treatment in my $160 facial. My basic facial is $65 if that helps.

My business is fairly new but I have gotten bookings and re-bookings for all of them.
