Salon Software
I am looking to purchase Software for my Skincare Salon. I am a solo esty and currently use Quickbooks. I really want a system that either has accounting and inventory abilities integrated in or that can transfer to QuickBooks. I want a system that email/texts clients their appointments, has online booking, online gift certificates as well. It would also be fabulous if the system had the ability to keep track of what I used on the clients and reminders to check on them - ex - if they just purchased product to call them in 2 days, or remind them they wanted to try xyz the next time they came in for their service. Does such a thing exist? What are you using and why? Oh and it needs to be mobile. I do all my booking on my phone.

I love SpaBooker. I opened my own place a year ago, also as a solo practitioner, and have been very happy. As a former retail buyer, I knew I wanted something to help me track inventory and this one is very good for that. It has all the booking/reminder features you are asking for as well. You can look up what specific services they used and product purchases. There is an area for "notes" for each person that you can put any particulars in. I often use this area to remind me of what samples i may have given them so I can check and see how they liked the product. Also, if they had a reaction to a product or treatment. I like that I can customize so much myself.
I had used MindBody at another spa and it was good, but I do prefer Booker. Inbox me with your phone if you have more questions.

Check out Vagaro. It's very affordable and easy to use. It is great for reminding clients about their appointments and for booking online too :) I love it.

As ASCP members we get a discount on Full Slate, and I believe it can integrate with Quickbooks. I haven't used them yet but looking into it.
