Skincare is really amazing , there is many information on the web site and references from SPA director and doctors explaining why is great : )
I have a great botanical skin care line that I only sell to my clients. I use this product in the spa and recommend for home use. Everyone loves it and because it is fairly inexpensive since I don't distribute this product anywhere outside of the spa the margin is better then any other skin care line. In addition to that it creates an absolute loyalty since they keep coming back to repurchase it at the spa. No amazon. No other retailer carries my line.
If anyone is interested in learning more about this line please send me an email to email@example.com
Kristy the products are reasonably priced to consumer that not many people object to the price. Most have been on the market to purchase a better product and know how expensive they are, so when they see a quality skin care for less they love it.
For you as an esthetician that works well because you make a profit and never have to spend a fortune to make an opening order. You buy as many as you need and increase it as you go along. In addition you use that in your back bar so that you don't need to really sell those products to them. Most will like them and ask you for them at the register.

***Note- I do not rep/work fo the line I am suggesting below.
When I was manager/lead esthetician I wanted to bring something in that was pro - esthetician where they could monetarily benefit, clients could benefit, low minimum ordering, effective, result oriented, and of course nice packaging (presentation). I ended up with Lemieux. Today as a rep/educator/spa sales I always try to research/find lines/technology that truly benefits the esthetician, as I am one and know how important it is to make a living but also be honest, caring and professional on all accounts. Many of my clients are very discriminating, wealthy individuals and come away happy after one of my anti-aging facials utilizing this line. They have some great promos, education, brochures and I love their serums (they are known as the SERUM Authority). I always tell my accounts with my current businesses that Amazon and Ebay have many products that are counterfeit & trademark infringement, and you do not get professional consulting as with a professional esthetician that can keep tabs on your skins improvement or decline. I tell my accounts to have a visible sign that you are an authorized distributor of these products and any online products often can be expired, ineffective, not covered by guarantee by company, and potentially could harm your skin or body. I know the internet has helped - but hurt our industry
I have not been here for a while, but I have a line you might be interested in and if you email me I can send you the manual and relate educational material.
Hello Estheticians and Spa Owners,
How would you like to make your own power serums with medical grade actives for your clients and cabin use? Clients will never find these on INTERNET as you mixed it just for them and your mark up can be HUGE. Give your self a chance to be creative in your practice. Give Marita Hanson a call or email Skin Magic Ltd. 212-751-7546
Happy mixing from
Once again, here we go...
Please respond to this - THIS IS TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM YOUR WEBSITE
The statement that caught my eye: "SERUMS by SKIN MAGIC, LTD., is a unique custom-blended skin cell therapy system, which uses Medical Grade Active ingredients and is FDA Approved."
Here is the link to the exact location: https://skinmagicltd.com/service/skin-cell-therapy-system-european-...
Please provide the link or supporting documents so myself and others can take a look at what exactly your FDA claim is. Thank You.

Responding directly; sorry for the off topic response but could not help it. ;)
Original Question: I am looking to add a skin care line to my spa that is sold to professionals only. Any leads? Thanks so much.
I am of the opinion, lately, that if you are a professional and you want to make money via a professional line and that it is going to be a major part of your spa revenue stream then you might want to reconsider that exact approach.
I will not go into too much detail but here is an idea that might work well and I think most of your clients will be happy with your decision:
1. Not all clients want the discount; some actually want to support you! So if the line is on amazon what is wrong with finding out if they want a small discount, or a price match or nothing at all.
2. You are basing a decision on the line to buy based on a point that could change at any time and probably will since diversion comes in many ways.
Case in point I once bought an entire spa full of my product at close to retail so the owner, who was pregnant and stopping her business, would not divert it to Ebay or Amazon.
With hat said...
3. Base your spa on the line that demonstrates the following:
A. Low or zero minimums
B. Free or next to free product for promotions
C. Treats you like you are the only customer
D. Will allow you to take back every return without losing money. Can Ebay or Amazon do that?
E. Makes a partnership with you instead of a vendor / customer relationship
And here is how that can all happen and should happen but rarely does:
A product that costs you $20 and you resell it for $35 - $40 costs the mfgr over 50% less the professional price you paid depending on what it is. Your skincare line provider should help you when they can and utilize that margin to do so when necessary. This key point will be way more critical then your concern on your original question.
p.s. Some times it really is amazing knowing what I know and reading some of these questions and concerns and seeing the advice and the choices being made. Actually, maybe it is a curse. ;)
I hope this helps and I hope you find what you are looking for; some good advice was given prior to my posts. I know there are companies out there that have the same opinions that I do. Needle in the haystack, maybe, but definitely worth the effort when you find them.
