I dont, want to be too expensive for my customers, but you get what you pay for. I need to educate them more. In the long run prof products are less expensive than "drug store brand". Thanks for mentioning them.

Ann, I use the Total R. masque then follow with the Vital C Hydrating Enzyme Masque or one of my others from my private label. And if you are looking for a really great private label brand you owe it to yourself to check out YG labs. It's been in business over 30 yrs. Rebecca Gadberry, owner is a class act! She also teaches product ingredients @ UCLA. They are the best in the bus. & you know what goes into the product. Customer service & education is excellent. You can mark their product up 3 -4 times depending on your clientelle.

Karen....so, do you use the Total Resurfacing Masque as your exfoliant and then follow with another masque to complete your facial?   Or, is this a 2 in 1 exfoliant/mask combined?

YES IMAGE DOES HAVE AN EXFOLIATOR!! It's called Total Resurfacing Masque. Glycolic based. It's the best. You should try it. ;)

Yes, agreed, I noticed Image don't have an exfoliant. I would have Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant and Age smart products on my back bar self. Love um.  And I will keep you posted when I meet the rep :)

Hi Pamela...... welcome.   I was looking at Image too, but, had a couple of concerns.  1.)   they are all over Amazon (like many other products).  I know this is something they are trying to control, but, regardless, my clients can find the products they need online.   2,)  I do a lot of basic facials and they don't offer an exfoliant.  I know their cleansers have exfoliating properties, but, I feel like I am "missing" something in the facial process....using them, I cleanse, mask, moisturize.   I just feel that I want that extra exfoliation step, and unless you are doing a peel, they don't have anything.

Let me know what you think after you meet with your rep.

Hello! I'm new to Home-Based business too. Still researching on several equipments. I just got the OK from the Town-Hall Long Island, NY to convert the space into business space for Esthetics. I gotta tell you our profession is such a grey area. It didn't say in the book, anywhere, that we couldn't practice esthetics. I had to really advocate myself and emphasize that I'm not a massage therapist, which is prohibited in home-base. .... As for skincare line, my advice is to see who else in your area has the same skincare line you're interested in. I LOVE LOVE Dermalogica, but too many spas and clinics in my area are using and retailing Dermalogica. Ulta Beauty store is close by home and carry the line. Right now, I'm leaning towards "Image Skincare" no minimal order, has backbar line to start. I do plan to have a representative to come to my house to show me this product. I'd like to see it, say it, taste it .. the whole bit. Any thoughts?
