I really want to be a great makeup artist.  I've had the hardest time covering my own blue blood vessels on my eyelids and under my eyes.  Concealer is hard for me to do on clients with dark circles.  I use Temptu airbrush at work with their concealer wheel and for most people, that's been great but I had one very hard to please client, and I don't blame her.  I ended up not being able to do her wedding makeup because during the trial I couldn't get the concealer right.  I can't imagine that I inspire much confidence because I don't cover my own eyes well enough.  I've taken makeup classes at school and online but so far, no luck.  Please help.  What do you use? With what tools?  What techniques?

Do you a color wheel? Yellow/orange covers blue, green covers red, etc. first correct the color then use concelaer about the same color tone as their skin.

I have to cover dark circles myself. Ugh!! I recently discovered Bobbi Brown Corrector (base which corrects tone) then apply her Creamy Concealer over it and set w/loose powder. Try it out!

Bobbi Brown is excellent.  So are Viseart, Ben Nye. And others.  YOu need to neutralize first, then conceal.
