"It kind of depends on the length of the session -- 30 minutes or 60 minutes?. For me, the most *requested* is LED photo rejuvenation. But my LED machine does a full face in 5 minutes, so that gives me a good 20 minutes to still do a basic facial in…"

Microblading Training in California?

I have a steady base of clientele and new ones coming in daily for the classic brow shaping and I've hit a limit. I think it's time for me to look into microblading. There are so many permits, fees, licenses, inspections, upgrades that I'll have to do in addition to the training - it's daunting. I think it could all be worth it in the long run?!Can anyone recommend microblading classes in California? Are there programs that you would NOT recommend? Also would love to hear any tips ...Thanks so…See More

Facial Steamer - Which one do you use?

Hi, I've been using the Jocasta facial steamer (bought on Amazon for $69) for the past 2 years. I like that the unit is light weight and compact. The price was inexpensive. The bluish ozone light broke within about 5 months. The steam stays on for only about 20-25 min max and the unit would shut off immediately if the water bubbled up too highWell, it's started to overheat (and smoke). I need to replace it. Can anyone recommend a reliable brand/model. For something like this, I can't see…See More

Microblading ... 3-D Brows ... Brow Embroidery - Legal in California?

Hi Esthis,How are estheticians offering Microblading in California legally? Any tool, needle, blade that punctures, cuts or scrapes the skin is unfortunately not allowed. I would love to be able to offer it, but believe I would need to be set up like a tattoo shop, a whole other set of regulations/fees to abide by by.See More
