I am new to the skin care business. Graduated in march 2015. I am licensed in Maryland and Delaware. Just started out in a salon. Things are slow here as of now. Any words of wisdom to get through the "dark days" of waiting while building a book?! I am very passionate and excited about my new career but I am feeling a big discouraged. We have tried networking on facebook and the web. The clientele is the same crowd weekly. Just looking for some pointers! thank you in advance!

You may want to invite salon clients in for a discounted introductory rate, or spend time in the area where they are waiting for color to process, offering complimentary treatments on their hands, so they can experience how their faces will feel after a facial.

Also, give free treatments to the stylists and some kind of bonus for referrals.
