Can my boss do this??

does anyone know if its illegal for an owner to keep commission reports from you? Or if they can not let you keep a record of hrs??

As far as the commission reports, I just want to know how much I'm making per client to see if is be better of being commission instead of hrly. But everytime I bring it up she starts studdering and saying she doesn't know how to do it or I don't need to see it. But my question is "who" do I call??

Comment by Nancy Young on February 27, 2012 at 5:47am: aren't you keeping your own records? if there is any discrepancy, you can then ask them a specific question. they don't need to show you commission reports for others, if you have a question about yours, let them know.

I find it hard to believe that legally she can withhold this information from you. Are you sure this is the right place for you to work?

I'm sure that if the person who answers your call doesnt know, you can ask to be switched off to somone who can help you find out! Have you worked there very long?
