Has anyone purchased the six Figure Esthetician SystemTM?

I am thinking of buying it but wanted to hear from others first.

Since this post, has anyone else bought this system? Do you recommend it? Is there anything in her suggestions or advice that is cutting edge or superlative advice not found from other, regular sources in the market?

This system is entrepreneurship at its finest.

Taking:

1. Experience

2. Information collecting

3. Data

and calculating the time to do it and then putting a price on it is exactly what this is.

So look at it this way:

It takes 4 facials to pay for it, so that is 4 - 5 hours...  It took me 5 years (18 Hour Days) to get to the place I am at so if I was a new esty, I cannot imagine how 4 hours could ever be enough time to get all that information and data.

I'll bet you anything that when you buy the system you read it or listen to it and say to your self, "I know this or I know that..." and then, SURPRISE!, you learn something that changes your business or the way you think forever and it was this piece of information that would have taken you 5 years to discover.

The 4 facials might just be worth it.

Thanks for the input.

i purchased it and found it very helpful as a new business owner.  Really great if you are a self starter and will FOLLOW THOUGH with the program.  I read it, and had got some great ideas but because i'm a terrible follow through i didn't do everything recommended in the system.  My story and excuse is I have 2 small children and I don't have the time to focus on my business like I should.  I am in week 2 of Lori's 60 day Esthetic Challenge and find it really great because it has an closed Facebook group that helps keep you motivated and has a little bit of accountability.  One of the challenges this week are figuring what is holding you back and without a doubt I always use my children and lack of time for the reason I don't focus on business growth.

Toni, that is great feedback, especially since you have struck out on your own as a business owner. What did you like best about the program overall? Is it a digital download format or is it shipped to you?

Christina, The system does suggest making sure you're working at the right spot for you and I found out I wasn't and would never be able to achieve everything I wanted.  So I quit my job in derm of 6 years and went on my own and it's the best thing I've ever done!!  Reading the program will give you ideas, but you have to get it on paper, set some goals, and make it happen!  It's a system that requires work on your part.  It's a large binder and she has worksheets for each chapter that are helpful.  It also comes with CD's that you can listen to.  Overall, I just like it as I guide and when I'm in a slump I can pull it out and get ideas about 1 or 2 extra things I could be doing to get more clients in the door.  It helps if you are self motivated and won't just read or listen to it and let it sit in a closet forever.

Those are all great points and suggestions. I just wanted to make sure there was real "meat" to the system and not just a lot of fluff or page fillers. I'm guessing LivingSocial and Groupon are in there but I was hoping for more creative ideas and input within the system that isn't readily obvious. Based on what you wrote, I take it that is, in fact, the case?

I did not find it helpful with any specific ideas. So it really isn't a "system".

It is more of a self-examination guide...find your niche and what you love to do sort of thing. The cd's are just the author reading the text. Resources listed are old and not helpful.

If you compare it to something like Lori Nestore's class (Do what I do....) who gives you actual ideas, techniques and even scripts and forms, it doesn't seem to have any substance. (JMO)

Cindy, this is the exact type of input I was interested in learning. I don't need motivation or coaching about getting off my behind to do something. What would be most useful would be insights as far as her practice - what marketing strategies worked and what didn't work, what client building techniques are most cost effective - that kind of thing. If it doesn't include that kind of information then it's a waste to me. Thoughts?

Christina - I was looking for exactly what you mentioned!

I think that's why I was disappointed, because there was nothing concrete as to marketing or client building (a system).

Most of us who have been in the business for awhile have already done a lot of the self-examination work...we already know our talents and strengths and are looking to take our business to the next level. I did not find it in this package. But for someone just starting out, they may find it helpful in gaining more clarity.

Cindy, I truly appreciate your honest input on that. To me, if there is not a road map or tried and true strategies that yielded quantifiable results then whatever was published is woefully inadequate. I'm all for big picture, motivational tips and so forth but there is no escaping an expectation of concrete, proven business building methods - especially considering what the price of the "system" is. I applaud her for developing an info product which is highly profitable and, in fact, I'd pay $1000 for it if it had outstanding data about winning marketing methods. Anyway, that's ok. I have built clienteles before and have lots of background in that but was hoping for better insight from the perspective of a successful entrepreneur in THIS field specifically which is a new field to me. Thankfully, building a clientele is not new to me and that will serve me well going forward I'm certain. Again, REALLY appreciate your honesty as no one spelled it out quite like you did Cindy.
