Hi Amy,  thanks for your review of Fake Bake.  When applying it to your client, do you also put it on their face and necK?  Just curious : )

Also, I just laughed out loud about the Moroccan tan disaster.

Thanks,

Sandy

I use Fuji spray tan equipment and love it, simple to use. Products, South Seas is ok, my favorite is Kahuna Melange through Artesian Tan (it is thick so is good to dilute with another thinner solution.  "barrier" cream is simply lotion, don't buy it, just purchase a cheap lotion. My hair bonnets and sticky foot pads cheapest through Qosmedix. If you are an esthetician they have lots of things you can use in your spa at super great prices. I purchased my tan tents actually made for camping showers. Are much better made than the oval pop up tan tents that are outgragiously cheap and difficult to "spin" back into their closed shape.....after the tan I take a feather duster.....yes a feather duster, sprinkle baby powder and lightly dust over my clients. It takes away the "tackiness" that most ALL solutions leave behind and it will protect the tan somewhat before your shower. I could go on and on.....hope this helps

Hi Angie - I have only been spray tanning for 1 year and only used south seas.  This summer I would like to experiment with some other solutions and went to artesian tan to look for the kahuna solution you were referring to.  I want to try a deep color, which shade do you like?  I see there is original, dark, and extra dark.  My tent broke and now I've been hanging a sheet so I may look into the camping showers.  and since the melange is thick, could I mix it with south seas?

great tips.

have you purchased one yet? i have searching as well. there are so many  brands dont know where to start

I normally use VIP premium blends, great brown color, never orange and fades nice, however I just bought a system from Tampa Bay Tan and used the samples...let me say their colors are amazing!  My favorite right now are the tantastic, natural and rapid.  The two companies are similar (friends actually) and use a lot of the same ingredients it seems like.   Love the HPLV maxi mist machine.

Hi Kellie! Did you ever get this going? I work with ASCP in the membership department and would love to hear if you settled on a machine and solution. I also spray tan, specializing in bodybuiling, and recent wrote an article in Skin Deep magazine. It details how I got started as well as the protocol I've developed. My contact information is at the end of the article. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about suppliers, application, or marketing you service. Here's the article http://www.ascpskincare.com/membership/ascp_skin_deep.php
