Wax

What are people using for wax. Im getting a lot of reactions with all different wax I'm using now. And need to find something thats for sensitive skin but still gets the hair.

When I was using wax I fell in love with the Latte Creme Wax from Se-Brazil! That stuff is awesome and leaves skin feeling SO smooth. I just got certified with Alexandria Professional and now do Sugaring--I'm the first one in my city to do it and it's going SO well. Highly recommend! it's just sugar, water and citric acid. Completely edible--you can't get more natural than that!

How much are classes? And is the product pricey?

Im very interested in this. I live in a small town and I don't think anyone else does sugaring!!

It may depend on the trainer, but the class I went to was 2 days and $300. I don't think the product is more costly--actually less b/c you don't need sticks and strips--you just use the sugar paste. I think it's $35ish for a 32oz pot of sugar? it's supposedly more economical than wax once you are used to it, I'm about a third of the way through one pot and i've done a lot of sugaring!

Though my hands down favorite soft wax for full body is Epillyss Novatherm (very low temp, absolutely gets the hair, soft/smooth finish w/ no stickiness), I'm apt to recommend Epillyss White Queen for sensitive skins having reactions. And a step further for hypersensitive (especially for face, underarm, bikini/brazilian, backs), then certainly recommend a hard wax: Epillyss Freelyss.

I love, Beauty Image. I use the blue hard wax and then usually the blue rollers, but only for legs Because of course we can't reuse rollers, ew.

I think a lot depends on climate. The only soft wax I've ever been happy with in the New Orleans humidity is Depileve Azulene Creme Rosin. Every other soft wax I have tried has eventually broken with the ambient moisture in the air. I prep with powder with this wax whether I'm waxing face or body.
