So I recently purchased the spatula and I love it! I saw results on my first client. To those of you that have been using it, do you have any tips or suggestions? I want to get the most out of it.

Thanks!

I never use machinery on the first facial appointment, other than a Clarisonic brush.  From the 2nd appointment on, I use the skin scrubber until I can notice the client is truly taking care of their skin with homecare.  After that, it's basic facials with light peels.  That's as far as I can go on scope of practice.

The use of the skin scrubber is determined by my hands.  Once I touch the skin (before cleansing) I can tell if I need to use it.

Oh, forgot......

I use the Skin Scrubber after the enzyme mask, apply distilled water to the face, and use it in a scraping motion, opposite of the way I've seen most use it online (pushing, rather than scraping).

Works great!

When I learned to use this in school, they also taught the pushing on the exfoliating mode rather than scraping, but I saw Dermalogica do a demo a few weeks ago where they removed an enzyme with the scraping.  Glad to know I wasn't doing it "incorrectly:. :)
