Hello, I am in the market for a new microderm machine, but not sure which one I would be better off with.  I want something that will last a while but not break the bank...  I would love any and all opinions... Thanks so much

Hi Taylor,

Take a look at www.skinsmoothpro.com. A diamond tip Microdermabrasion machine that is affordable, powerful and delivers amazing results. Also distributed in the US with great warrantees, training and support. Tell them Sharon Papapdopoulos from Lira Clinical  RENO sent you or you may call me 408-306-1732

Hi Sharon,

Thank you so much..  I went on there website and emailed them since no prices are listed and I mentioned your name.  I will keep you posted.  Thanks again

You're welcome! Let me know if you need any help :-)

I am dealing with Danielle she is very helpful, so going to purchase through them. Can't thank you enough.
Can you tell us the price of the skin smooth pro. Just happened to see their ad in the skin inc. mag and was going to check it out then saw this discussion. Went on website and sent an message for more info but am too impatient, curious to know the cost.

Melissa,

Danielle from Skin Smooth Pro quoted the price at $2495 until Jan 1st. After that the price will go up to $4495. Go on their website and check out their video.

Thanks for your response Donna . Boy that's quite a price jump.

Please don't take this personally, but anything over about $600 for a diamond tip machine is ridiculous in my opinion.  A diamond tip machine is nothing more than a vaccuum with some hose and a filter.  If anyone is even remotely considering this, please check out the dermafiles instead until you can afford a crystal machine (which would certainly be worth paying several thousand for a good one).  I would really hate to see any more estheticians get swindled by the diamond tip craze - it's a cheap and less effective way to do "microdermabrasion;" without the spray of crystals which stimulates the fibroblasts, I wouldn't even consider it true microdermabrasion.

Thank you Christine for commenting. I've always been on the fence about crystals or diamond tip and always lean a little further towards the crystals side. I actually have the Dermafiles (it was what was in the budget at the time) and am not too crazy about them. Thanks again for chiming in here. One question though...do you all still find micros to be a popular service with your clients or, if I'm spending the money, is there another machine I should invest in and bypass the micros. I personally like the results after a micro but. There's so many toys I want

Microdermabrasion is still very popular with my clients, and certain clients swear by it.  I also love my peels and dermaplaning, though, and those are much less expensive to get set up with.  You might consider a lower-priced diamond microdermabrasion machine like one from LCL, and save the big $$ for a Radiancy FSD or a Celluma panel, though, depending on what other tools you already have.  LCL does have one where the tip rotates, which sounds like an improvement on just scratching across the face with diamond tips (but I have no firsthand experience of that).  If I did something like this, I would steer my clients towards peels, and only use the diamond micro for clients who really wanted it.  I would look at it more as a way to diversify my menu, and less as a part of my regular protocols.

I am in the market too but am finding it infuriating that there are not listed prices on websites! I am a solo practitioner and while I am funded price IS a factor. I am also horrified by the lack of customer service. Last week I filled out 4 online "have us contact you" forms complete with detailed questions in the comment notes and not a single one has gotten back to me. I found a few on random websites that look promising but this whole area seems under informative.

Are you having any luck so far?

Hello,

I have been dealing with the same issues as you, sending out contact forms with no luck, such bad customer service. I did take Sharon's advice and contacted www.skinsmoothpro.com and I am dealing with danielle. Very good customer service and the machine is exactly what I was looking for. So I would suggest trying them as well. Hope that helps.
