This Micro-Needling delio... would love your thoughts. I  would love to hear from any of you out there that have or still use this in your treatment room. Please let me know what 'changes' you and your clients have seen if you do use, and those of you who don't would love your opinions about it as well!

There are two main points about micro-needling: 1) the results can be amazing, and 2) the treatment is not pleasant.

I'm still testing it out for use in the studio, but so far with my test subjects, I've seen improvement in large pigment spots, as well as a hypertrophic surgical scar.  I haven't used it on any depressed acne scars yet, but that's my next project.

I am assuming that your are using serums after treatments as well? Such as the hyperpigmentation issues? Are your test peeps using serums/products at home as well?  Which micro-roller(s) are you using by the way?  Thank you for your feedback! ;)

Sure, yes, serums are a big part, however it seems we must use lidocane before/during the treatment to avoid excessive discomfort.  Mainly have done peptide/growth factor right after.  Using a mechanical pen device now, but I have personally used rollers in the past over both peptide/growth factor and over retinol...  probably slightly better results with the retinol since my main concerns are acne scars.

I am quite conservative in my skin care philosophies, so I am not sure how I feel about the micro-needling in general. Was curious to find out however everyone's thoughts and experiences. Hmm...didn't realize lidocane would be needed w/ these treatments. I know the rollers come in different gauges (depths), and also only effect the epidermis. (otherwise we as estys would be unable to use them). Still, was not aware that they are so uncomfortable to need lidocane! I understand the theory behind them (Collagen synthesis and better product penetration), however, seems a little too aggressive for my approach to skin care. ;)
