Hi all. After viewing quite a few posts, the microdermabrasion scrub topic came up. Does anyone use these? Are they effective? And if you use them, what skincare lines or product names do you use? Very interested in this.

I've used a couple but I don't think they are that great. I actually just take the microdermabrasion crystals and add them to my 2nd cleanse. It works great as a scrub and it's cost effective.

Awesome! Can you tell me what crystals you use/how I would be able to get them? I really can't afford a microderm machine. :(

Go to one of the online supply companies like universalcompanies.com or a similar one. I can't remember where I got mine. I use 100 grit.

I have used biolements pumice scrub, I like it because the grit is really fine and the granules are uniform in size and shape, no jagged edges to damage the skin.

Very good ideas. I wouldn't use the microderm crystals since I think it's danger and TOXIC. I like Bicarbonate Sodium.

The spa I used to work at carried Epicuren and they have a micro-derm exfoliating cream (scrub). I'm not an esthetician so I'm not sure how the professional version compares to these other suggestions, but as a client I liked the results the handful of times I used this product.

good luck!

Thanks everyone! I love this site!

Hello,

I don't about microdermabrasion scrub, but I have heard good reviews of Rejuvoderm scrub cleanser, it gives you flawless, clear and blemish-free complexion without overdrying skin.

I love Institut Dermeds micro crystal polish. It is fantastic to layer under their Level 101 peels for a deeper exfoliation too..

I notice instant lightening of my skin and clients skin when using this polish.
