Hi Katrina yes it was expensive. I was so excited at first to find a distributor in SC then they emailed to say that I had to deal with the east coast distributor in NY since I'm inNJ. When I began emailing, their responses back were very short and clipped. I almost thought they didn't want to do business. They said a training session 1 day long in NY was required at $150 which included the peel and take home products. I assumed that meant take home a trial size peel with products the client would be taking home for after the service. Once I spoke with them on the phone it was that you learn about the peel and ingredients in the morning session, have a lunch break and then each student gets the peel. I assume the people that work there give each student the peel so that the "take home" products are the ones you r supposed to use afterward. She explained that you can decide later if u want to order the peel. She was unwilling to give me too much information and kept saying that she wasn't supposed to tell the price which didn't make seems to me. I became suspect, So I asked how I could decide if I wanted it if I didn't have all the info and that's when she said it was $1000 for 50gm which covers 10-12 clients. I couldn't believe it then she went thru the price of the take home products which included cleansers and balks and those prices were upwards of $20 each! I asked her why it was so high priced and she justified it by saying that each peel could be priced at $400 or more plus you could add on to the price of the take home products but wasn't clear as to how much. This wouldn't go over in my office. It's too high priced. But truly it was very unsettling how secretive she was about the prices. I tried to email SC again but they didn't respond. I also reached out to the las Vegas distributor but they told me I had to work with NY. So I dropped it. If I find something else I will blog about it here and hope others do the same.

Hi Katrina:  Nice website and I will check out your facebook page.  I currently work out of my house, and have just started submitting resumes again for part time work.   I had just completed some training for Makeup Artistry when I needed some shoulder surgery.  It kind of put everything on hold, but now I'm ready get for that parttime job and will keep my home spa going. I'm semi retired, and only want parttime. I really do enjoy the makeup part also!
