Why not practice on a few friends and family members that don't mind being a "model" for you?  Practice makes perfect.  Have them give an honest feedback, concerns, and questions. It gives you a sense of empowerment, confidence, and reassurance that your skills can be fine tuned with those that can be honest with you.  I hope that helps a bit.

Are you experienced at spray tanning. I would practice, practice, practice. You will feel so much more confident and you will have happier clients. The same goes for eyelash extensions so practice on friends and family first.  If you are experienced then no better way to market than giving those cards out and any marketing materials. I made 5x5 mini flyers with a discount on one of the services and I handed them out to businesses in my local area.  I had more positive responses because people got to meet me and that makes a difference. The first time I did it I was so nervous and I realized I needed to rehearse a little so I felt more confident. that helped tremendously. I have one day a week devoted to marketing and I look forward to it.  I have a sidewalk sign that I change what it says daily to promote myself. I always notice people slowing down to see what it says. We are in a competitive field so you have to market, market, market.
