I am still using Osmosis pur medical skin care and have been since its beginning!  All companies go through changes and Osmosis seems to stay very current with the present and future skin care needs of its clients and distributors.

I see no need to look elsewhere, because that is where I came.

I also now have added the Blue Onyz microcurrent to my menu.

Good luck and maintain a positive attitude..

Just joined this group-I'm wanting to know-do you see more massage clients or esty clients? Have been MT for 13 years-Esty-hair over 1. For the most part I was about 25% increase in business from esty-mostly waxing-seems harder to get regular facial clients, but with school starting, the bottom has fallen out. Is it the reverse for the ones who were esty's first then MT's?

Yes ur right the regular price for a facial micro or facial peel starts at 110. For a 50 minute treatment

@Veronica.  I am sure that YOU know how to give a great service! I don't know where you are located...the price for your massage is already a VERY good value.  And at 75.00, a facial with peel or microderm is a steal! In our area basic facials are about $80 with peel or MDB at closer to $120. So - I am thinking, using the rates you listed (unless you end up raising your facial prices) A regular massage and regular facial would be 2 hours and cost client $140.  So if you were offering a massage/facial combo (rather than regular back-to-back services) to make it more attractive you would give a small discount...you are working 90 instead of 120 minutes...maybe $125.  The $150 would be a higher price than your regular rates, so I don't see where a client would book this option.

I belive what makes a good treatment aside from good product and technique is heart. It has to come from ur heart and I alwys do my best to give more than they expect and its important that we as professionals in demand not get overwhelm and take on more than we should to prevent  becoming burned out. As they say  work smarter not harder. My massages usally start at 65 an hr the facial includes a peel or micro starting at 75.00 rebooking 2 to 4 wks apart. What do u think?

Hi Veronica! I recently booked a facial/massage combo at a local spa. It was nice. But neither service measured up for me. The massage was very light and general and the facial was only so-so. If you can provide exceptional service at that price, it is a great value for the client.

I had been an esthetician for 2yrs incorporating massage of the arms neck face and feet, when I decided to go to massage therapy school. I began telling my clients I would soon be able to offer massages with their facials. I now offer a massage and facial, starting with the client prone, when my client turns supine I then go immediately into the facial working on the arms and legs during steaming and masking. I've been able to charges on average 150. For an hour 1/2. I would like to hear your comments .

I enjoy being able to offer facials followed by a massage to my clients and it beats having them go elsewhere! Its a nice convenience for the client as well!
