Has anyone ever used or purchased LCL beauty equipment?? I see a lot of inexpensive packages on Ebay. I'm shopping all of my options, however want to stay in my budget. Any suggestions on used or inexpensive equipment, (facial table, multifunction machines, micro-current, etc,?)

I have purchased most of my equipment from LCL via Ebay.   I am new in the business and on a limited budget.  I have been very happy with the quality and their customer service is great!  No regrets at all!

I have purchased towel cabis, a microcurrent, and steamer/mag combo. The steamer/mag I like. The microcurrent I upgraded as soon as I could afford to. The towel cabi had a short and sparked when the door closed so I tossed it.

Interesting, I have been curious about their microcurrent.  Which one did you get, and what did you upgrade to?

I just looked and the one I got they don't sell any longer (surprise surprise) but it is like this http://www.spaandequipment.com/product.php?productid=16542&cat=... I never used the gloves or mask thingy, just the double prong probes.

I actually "upgraded" to a pico toner (neurotris) home unit and got their probes to go with it. I really like it and clients definitely see results. I'd love to upgrade again soon to something with more program options.

Very interesting!  Would you stay with the Neurotris machines?

I like the pico, but the next step up is $$$$. I hope to find something for under 3k (probably used, that's ok).

Cool - I've always wondered what accounts for the huge price range in microcurrent machines.  I would love to get more of your take on this because I haven't heard a good explanation yet.

I honestly don't know what that price hike is about. Maybe it's just because of the training/warranty? I am naturally a bit of a skeptic/cheapskate unless something proves it's value. My guess is that if one was an electrical engineer one could easily make a good one for under $40.

That has always been my sense.

Hi Yenruoj,

I have purchase a electric Facial Bed from LCL delivery was perfect, when I got the bed the bottom part of the electric bed was not straight, I called the company they did replace the bottom part, but my husband had to literally  take the bed apart in order to insert this part. The bed is OK however for the price we cant expect too much. The bed is still (Flimsy). If I had a choice I would have just invested in a better bed. Hope this Helps.

Good Luck, Denise

Thank you everyone!! This forum is wonderful!! :)

I have a table to sell!  Where do you live?

Yes, I've purchased from LCL with mostly good results.  My latest round of magnifying lamps have not been quite as sturdy as I had hoped, but I got table-clamp kinds and stuck them into brackets I already had on my carts, and since the sizes of the pegs didn't really match up, I think they broke down a bit quickly because of being improperly weighted and leaning all the time.

The high frequency wands, hot towel cabinets, wood's lamp, etc. have all worked great over time.  I also got the tens-unit style microcurrent body slimming machine.  Haven't used it a lot but it works fine.
