Hey all, long time since I've been here, but I was hoping to get some insight from my fellow estys. I opened my waxing salon February last year and business has been great. I'm busy all day every day. I stay booked up usually 2 weeks in advance. My only problem is I'M MENTALLY EXHAUSTED. I do mainly brazilians all day, which means lots of talking. I put on a show, I do my best to keep people laughing and positive throughout their visit, but at the end of the day I've got nothing left. At the end of the week, I'm drained. I don't socialize anymore, but when I do I have to prepare myself weeks in advance. Even then, it's hard. My house is a wreck. The only reason laundry or dishes get done is because my boyfriend is so helpful and does everything he can to help me out, but we both work constantly so we're spread thin as it is. Does anyone else feel this way? How do you cope? How do you keep going when you feel like you've got nothing left to give?

Hmmmmmm.  Go into work tomorrow and go to your next six Thursdays and book off till 12:00pm.  Problem solved.  Not enough do another day say Tuesday. Not willing to do that; not much sympathy here especially when you say this: "I stay booked up usually 2 weeks in advance."
