It is medical grade, very adjustable. for very fragile skin all the way up to really tough skin. It works off of suction and when you finish exfoliation you turn the suction around and can infuse the skin with a variety of great solutions. It is PRICEY but I have been SO pleased with it's results. See their website DermaSweep MD. So glad I spent the extra money.
