I have been asked so much what is an esthetician that I finally came up with this;
"An esthetician is a licensed professional who is an expert at improving and maintaining healthy skin."
Keys are healthy skin (scope of practice) and licensed. Getting a license is hard work, we should be proud of it.
How would you describe esthetician/aesthetician, skin care therapist (what ever title you use)?

Learning more about skin is always interesting and applicable. It is the one subject that both genders find a common interest. Seeing the outcome of a successful treatment and the positive, self-confidence that it triggers in our client is beyond rewarding!
