You know if you lose your job or if your hours were cut the first thing you eliminate is your facial. In the middle of this the place I worked at for 5 years went out of business so with a friend, who is a massage therapist, I started my own business. I am into my second year, business is getting a little better but without my husband's income I would have to take a second job. From what I saw when I was looking, most places want you to rent a room, bring your own equipment, buy your own supplies. There are some places that hire, but I wasn't really into that from previous experience. The most contact I have with other estheticians is through these web site.
